Annabelle Dvir

Here begins a phantasmagorical ritual, blending song and dance to the point of trance. A three-body adventure oscillating between control and freedom, desire and risk. A new futuristic-feminine world is created, on the borderline between reality and hallucination.

Choreographer, vocal artist, composer and director of her ensemble WOMAN OF SOUNDS, Annabelle Dvir graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and KELIM Choreography Center. Her career has been marked by a number of awards, including the Holon Prize for Artistic Excellence in 2017, the DanceWEB grant for the international ImpulsTanz festival in Vienna in 2018, and in 2022, the prize awarded by the Ministry of Culture. Her multidisciplinary work, which derives from the physical-vocal practice of slamming, have toured in Italy, Georgia, Spain, France, Singapore and Denmark.
