de l'Impertinence # 2
How do you say everything may teeter? A front line – in a state of suspended equilibrium – moves implacably onwards, thus creating a dystopic space. Absurd or innocuous, objects escape, like remains or traces of our time on earth. GUSH IS GREAT is a eulogy to slowness and austerity when faced with our generational anxiousness.
In 2023, the second edition of the “artistic and cultural laboratory of impertinence” in Sète brought together a collective of artists from diverse backgrounds, including the Paris Opera, CCN, P.A.R.T.S., CobosMika, the Conservatoires Supérieurs de Danse or Coline. The collective takes the form of an ecosystem where members participate in each other’s projects, while at the same time carving a space for support, attentiveness and creativity.
