Mixtape

Liam Francis
FRANDANCO

How do you integrate a group, a community? Inside a forest of mikes, four performers explore a spectrum of emotions, ranging from resistance to pleasure, enabling the transition from individuality to community. In Mixtape, bodies and the sound they generate become means of connection and of solidarity.

Liam Francis began his career at Zoonation Dance Company then continued at London Studio Centre where he graduated in hip hop and contemporary dance in 2014. After dancing for Rambert Dance Company where he performed works by Merce Cunningham, Ben Duke, Sharon Eyal, Wayne McGregor and Wim Vandekeybus. Liam Francis now dances with Ben Duke. After winning several prizes and awards as a dancer, he received an award for his first creation, a duet which toured internationally.
