In an environment that is increasingly anxiety-inducing, what would be the remedy, one that could expel anger and helplessness? Working with sonic archives of excerpts of political speeches, Simon Roth invites performers onstage to take part in a political and cathartic samba.

With a university degree in the performing arts and training from the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique, Simon Roth specializes in directing documentary theater. He was awarded the “Court Mais Pas Vite” jury prize by Éric Ruf for Arboretum, and his other plays Une jeunesse en été and Catharsis have been and will be programmed at the MC93 in Bobigny and the MC2: Grenoble. Also an actor, he has appeared in theater with Théo Askolovitch and in films with Mathieu Amalric and Léa Fehner. He will be assisting Milo Rau in his next film.
