Sabotage

Sara Angius & Johanna Ehlert

This ballet for four plays on the boundary between appearance and reality, leaving us in doubt: who is manipulating whom? Between puppets and bodies, Sara Angius and Johanna Ehlert question the place of the individual within structures of power and domination. And the possibility of changing course…

‎After studying contemporary dance and performing arts communication, Sara Angius became a performer at the Brunswick National Theater Ensemble in 2013 and went on to work with various international choreographers. Her pieces have won prizes at dance festivals and competitions across Europe, including the 2013 Stuttgart International Solo Tanz Festival.
Johanna Ehlert trained in circus comedy at Lido, Centre des Arts du Cirque de Toulouse, before going on to build puppets, masks, costumes and illusions. She designs puppets for Yann Frisch, François Morel, the Comédie Française and the Cirque du Soleil. Her shows Court-Miracles and [hullu] have won European awards.
